Apple a Day

Jenna purchased her Mac Book Pro this week - another indication that there is a dent in Microsoft's amour. The "all in" gross price $1,654.26 included a free i-touch after a $199 rebate and a free printer. The base CPU price of $1,099 gets you a 13 inch, 2.4GHz, 4Gig Ram, and 250Gig Drive. But not to worry - Microsoft still got their cut as we had to spend an additional $70 for the student version of Office.

I'm amazed at the number of Jenna's friends who own Apples. It won't be long before the Corporate bias against Apples will be under attack.

Jenna is very happy with her decision (since she had to put up 50% of the base cost). The speed, the battery life, and I must admit the beauty of it's design.

I get Jenna's HP "hand me down" laptop - a lemon or is it a rotten Apple :(
